Destruction of 45 tons of unusable sugar at Shadegan Customs
Deputy of Food and Medicine at Abadan University of Medical Sciences told reporters of the destruction of 45 tons of unusable, imported sugar at Shadegan Customs.
Dr. Hoda Mojiri this morning in an interview with a Web Da correspondent said that this amount of sugar was declared unusable due to penetration of water into the sacks of sugar and the resultant change in the sugar quality.
Consequently, entire 45 tons of this unusable sugar were destroyed at Shadegan Customs after obtaining the required legal permits in the presence of the representatives of the deputy of food and medicine, she added.
She also reminded: ‘In case of observing any violations of health standards, citizens are requested to contact Complaints Office under the Deputy of Food and Medicine, Abadan University of Medical Sciences, at +986153329017-18.’ The said office will arrange the proper legal action against the violation.
