The exchanged views and touched upon mutual cooperation in scientific, educational, and research areas and discussed the usage of the relevant facilities and equipment.

Dr. Rekabdar, President of Islamic Azad University of Abadan, said the general ambience for the cooperation of the two universities in Abadan is quite facilitating.

 Education, Research, and Technology Deputy of Abadan University of Medical Sciences, pointing to the special potentials, departments, and educational and research conditions of this medical university, said we should make good use of the infrastructures of Islamic Azad University of Abadan in attracting international students.

Dr. Nouri talked about the research projects of Abadan University of Medical Sciences on improving the environmental conditions of the region and requested for bilateral cooperation in this regard.

Mr. Malihi, Abadan University of Medical Sciences’ Director of Research and Technology, talked about holding national and regional conferences and conducting research projects in association with Islamic Azad University of Abadan.

Vice-President for Research of Islamic Azad University of Abadan affirmed that the continuity of such meetings will prove quite useful for the synergy between the two universities. He added that these meetings should continue in future.

In line with this, Mr. Torabpour, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, expressed his contentment with the current situation and talked of the potentials of Abadan University of Medical Sciences in holding scientific and educational courses.

Abadan University of Medical Sciences’ Director of Technology Development, Mr. Janqorban, added a number of remarks about a joint start-up.

In the end, Dr. Rekabdar said we hope to realize a number of covered topics in the near future and expand the mutual cooperation in the later stages.
