Dr. Alireza Amouzandeh, President of Abadan University of Medical Sciences met with Dr. Salam
Hassan Khoshnav, Deputy for Scientific and International Relationship to the Minister for Higher Education of Iraq, and Ali Razzouqi Hussein al-Ummi, Director of the Private Education Directorate, for talks, reported a Web Da correspondent.
In this meeting, the sides talked on scientific and educational agreements, and the exchange of professors and students between Ministry of Higher Education of Iraq and Abadan University of Medical Sciences. Iraqi officials welcomed these agreements and urged they be carried out in the quickest time possible drawing on the capabilities of Abadan University of Medical Sciences.
The sides also had a discussion about the arrangements for removing visa requirement for Iraqi students so they could easily attend different educational programs.
The Iraqi side made the arrangements for this meeting to be held at the Ministry of Higher Education in Baghdad, and invited the Iranian side.
